We left Canberra on a cold Friday morning and headed to beautiful Newcastle by road. This is a trip we have done quite a few times; we always look forward to shooting weddings in the Hunter.
On the Saturday the weather man said 70% chance of rain, however as both Tate and myself stood by the lake and looked towards the sky we only saw light clouds and blue sky. The Groom and his offsiders turned up looking very shmick, but it was Robyn in the Jaguar that turned everyone's heads. She was wearing an amazing gown and shining like an angel with her very proud Dad besides her. The ceremony was wonderful - and even a few tears were shed... Afterwards, we had a relaxing bridal shoot by the lake. The party started as soon as we arrived at the reception and was still going strong when we left!
It was an amazing wedding with the sun shining on the couple on their special day.
